The UT College of Veterinary Medicine will hold its annual open house Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 a.m. until 5 :00 p.m. The free event will take place on the UT agricultural campus, located on Neyland Drive.

Guests will tour exhibits featuring small animal medicine, large animal medicine, community organizations, and pet rescue centers. No registration is necessary. The events will take place in the veterinary teaching hospital, Brehm Arena, and Hollingsworth Auditorium on the agricultural campus.

The veterinary open house is held each year to better acquaint the public with veterinary medicine and services provided at the College of Veterinary Medicine, which was established in 1974. Visit www.vet.utk.edu/openhouse for updates.

UT Ag Day 2009
has been set for Saturday, September 26th. Activities will begin four hours before kickoff, which is yet to be determined. The Ag Day committee will work to coordinate the details and make them known as they become available. If you have any suggestions or comments, please contact Dan L. McLemore, 2009 Ag Day committee chair and professor, Agricultural Economics Department, at 865-974-7321 or dmclemore@utk.edu

“Each year, people return to Ag Day from all over the country to show their support for agriculture and learn more about the Institute's activities. I hope you'll mark your calendar now and join us in welcoming our friends and alumni back to campus, McLemore said.
