CHAPTER ENRICHMENT GRANT PROGRAM
(form)

The goals of the Chapter Enrichment Grant Program are to encourage and promote the development of projects at the chapter level by providing a competitive grant program at the international level. Chapter enrichment projects are to be consistent with objectives as stated in the Mission Statement in the Gamma Sigma Delta Constitution. An unspecified number of enrichment grants, to a cumulative amount of $2,500 are to be awarded each year. The maximum award to any individual chapter will be $750. Preference will be given to those projects that have secured matching funds from other sources (e. g., local chapter, College or University administration, corporations, other campus organizations, etc.). Project duration is usually one year but may be longer depending upon the nature of the project. The International Executive Committee of Gamma Sigma Delta selects funded projects.

Proposal outlines are not to exceed two pages and should include: Project Title; ames/Addresses of Project Leader(s); Names of Others Involved; Project Duration; Relationship to Gamma Sigma Delta Objectives; Anticipated Outcomes; Potential for Continuation Following First Year; Requested Grant Amount; and Matching Funds.

Proposals are due in the office of the International Historian by November 1.
Award recipients will be notified no later than November 30.

Examples of projects that might be submitted include: Distinguished Lecture Series, Student and/or Faculty Research Competition, Teaching Improvement Workshop, Faculty Excellence Award Program, Seminar Series, or any other project(s) furthering the goals of Gamma Sigma Delta.

A progress or final report of one to two pages must be submitted to the International Officers of Gamma Sigma Delta via the office of the Historian within 12 months of the date of the award. A final report must be submitted at the end of the project. The report should include the following items: Title; Names/Addresses of Project Leaders; Evidence of Effectiveness of the Project; Amount and Sources of Matching Funds; and Value of the Grant to Your Chapter. Failure to file the required reports will make the chapter ineligible for Chapter Enrichment Grants for a period of five (5) years.
