Megan Bruch, University of Tennessee Extension specialist in the Center for Profitable Agriculture in Spring Hill has been named the Outstanding New Extension Worker for 2007. The award was recently presented at a conference for UT Extension workers The center is a partnership between the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation and the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture. The center is committed to the mission of increasing the value of Tennessee's economy through new, expanded and improved processing and marketing of agricultural, aquacultural and forestry products in Tennessee. Bruch was selected for the award for having outstanding program accomplishments among all UT Extension workers with between three and five years of service. During his presentation of the award, Goan quoted Goan added in his own words, “Megan is recognized by her peers, clients and colleagues as a solid Extension professional with many talents and a true dedication to the Extension mission.” Bruch received her Bachelor of Science in 2000 and her Master of Science in 2002 from Colorado State University. ### Contact: Megan Bruch, Center for Profitable Agriculture, (931) 486-2777
