Complete Information for Summer Celebration Now Available Online

JACKSON, Tenn. –If you plan to attend the University of Tennessee Summer Celebration Lawn & Garden Show you may want to log on first.
 
A complete detailed program as well as information on speakers and exhibitors is now available online at http://west.tennessee.edu.  Just click on the Summer Celebration link at the top of the homepage.
 
With so much to do at Summer Celebration, including more than 20 presentations from gardening experts, plenty of unique vendors, the Master Gardeners’ Plant Sale, and the UT AgResearch Wagon Tour, many visitors find it best to plan their day in advance.  The 2010 program offers detailed descriptions of Summer Celebration features as well as easy to read tables that list presentations by time.
 
A new online feature of this 21st annual event is the UT Summer Celebration Lawn & Garden Show Facebook fan page. Simply “Like” the page, and you’ll be able to ask questions, share your feedback on Summer Celebration programs and offer ideas for future events.  You’ll also be able to network with other garden enthusiasts.
 
Summer Celebration kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the West Tennessee AgResearch & Education Center in Jackson, Tennessee.  Admission is $5.00 for adults, free for children 17 and under. There is no cost for parking. The event will wrap up by 6:00 p.m.
 
The West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center is one of 10 outdoor laboratories operated by UT AgResearch, a division of the UT Institute of Agriculture.  In addition to its agricultural research programs, the UT Institute of Agriculture also provides instruction, research and public service through the UT College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, the UT College of Veterinary Medicine and UT Extension offices in every county in the state.
